    According to Sky's website:

€12 to add ESPN to your package, if you already have Sky Sports Pack
€16 to add ESPN to your package, if you do NOT already have Sky Sports Pack.

I got a sky box and card, tried subscribing online but it said i had to be a sky customer i.e. subscribe to a package entertainment whatever before i could subscribe online. I thought with setanta you used to be able to subscribe just to setanta?

Yeah, you could subscribe to Setanta alone without Sky sub, but that's not the case with ESPN.

I think it's down to Setanta having their own in-house subscriptions department, whereas ESPN rely on Sky to do the subscription work for them.

Ah sure sky might as well have won all the packages, so much for competition sky still win either way.

Pity as i would have got espn had it been a stand alone package.

    Setanta aint worth the €17.

    CHeers for the info.
