im thinking about upgrading the RAM inmy laptop, as far as i know it can take 4 gig of RAM, im presuming that means 2 2gig "sticks".

iv never done this before but was wondering is it an easy process, iv looked at vids on youtube and it seems straight forward, is it possible to f*ck it up.

and once its done (correctly hopefully) it is just a matter of turning on laptop and its done, no more to do???

    Thanks for any help

Make sure you've the right ram for your laptop first.
If in doubt google cpuz and download the program. It identifies your ram under "memory" section.

Second thing is when doing this. Disconnect the mains and battery. Keep yourself earthed or touch something that is to reduce static otherwise you'll fry the board! Its usually just a case of slot out old ram slot in. Boot up and done.

How much ram have you got now?
