Unique place to get married

please help, hoping to get married next september, going to go abroad, we there will be very few people, we eant the wedding to be small and intimate, i am not keen on the sun, any ideas of somewhere cool, unique and memorable. we would like to get married in a church, We are thinking new york.

Lapland.... I got married at Christmas time and wanted to go over and do it again on honeymoon in Lapland although they only have weddings up until the 16th of December and we got married on teh 15th so couldnt do it. Will definitely do it though either on the 5th or 10th anniversary...!

There are a few different places I think and you can go to the wedding on the sleigh or dogs as far as I remember.

Thinking of by a volcano in Hawaii or Lanzarote myself Winter would be guaranteed to be bright and probably warm, ideal for nice outdoor wedding and party Iceland works too for that, but pricer to get to than a Canary Island.
