just tought i start a thread about the guys who made it in the middle of tough econmic times.Who knows it may even spark off something with some of the users and encourage them to start uop their own business.Just add your story about an entrepreneur that made it despite tough econmic times.

My example is someone who i have always admired.Pat McDonagh,a former school teacher, the man behind the Supermacs Fast Food Chain. In 1978 at the tender age of 23 he started out his first fast food outlet in Ballinasloe,Co.Galway after being refused planning for a Pool Hall on the same site.He grew from strength to strength from here.Today,Supermac's boasts a turnover in excess of €83m and has over 2,500 employees in 89 branches. It serves an average of over 320,000 customers a week. What a sucess story.
