Uncomfortable Eyeglasses

I purchased a new pair of glasses the other day, and finally got them today. When I put them on, I noticed that it felt different than the other times I've gotten new glasses. It seemed as though my depth perception was completely off; things seemed a little clearer (though this may be because my old lenses were a little scratched up), but I noticed I was unable to see as much as I was able to with my old pair of glasses.

Ignoring this as a side-effect of the new glasses, I went home. After a few hours of wearing them, I noticed that this uncomfortable feeling has not gotten any better. I found out that the prescription on my right lens seems to be too strong (my vision is completely blurred), while the prescription on my left lens was perfect.

Is it normal when you get new glasses if one eye has blurred vision? I've never had this experience (where I cannot see clearly out of one eye with new glasses), so I am worried as to whether or not these glasses are right for me. However, I know that the prescription of my left lens did not change that much, while the right lens got slightly stronger than the left, and I was wondering if that could also be a cause to this vision.

Thank you for your responses and time.

Honestly. It can take a little while to adjust however if after a day or so your still having issues it might be worth while to go back and have a chat with the guy that did your glasses.. he might be able to adjust things for you :)

I'd say go back to your optician. If the right eye is blurred and the glasses are completely clean (make sure of this because they can get really mucky when the lense is being put in) then there's something wrong. Maybe they balls'd up the prescription. It happens.

Give it a few days for your eyes to adjust. If it still doesnt work out for ya then head back to your optician. Cause if thats the case then more than likely it has nothing to do with ur glasses but the actual prescription itself.
