Works for me. Just go to https://tcdlocalportal.tcd.ie/pls/fees/fees_app.main - that's where it redirects you to straight away anyways.

Why are there 9!! options for Doctor in Philosophy... am I supposed to try each one until it works!?!

It says on that, that the maximum daily charge for a laser card is €1500. Yet my registration fee is just over that. So does that mean I can't pay by laser card?

Can you not search by student number instead? Your TCD student number is the same as your CAO number (and will be for 4 years, may as well learn it now)

Either pay by credit card, or split the payment into two - pay 1500, then log back in tomorrow and pay the remainder. It all seems to be reconciled by hand at some point anyway.

When I try to access it by student number (my CAO number), I get a 'students details incorrect' error. I think they have to receive the little yellow form with your free fees declaration before you can pay student charges and stuff on epay.

You sure you can do this? I'm having the same problem and if I can do this it'll save me the hassle of transferring money into another account before I can pay.
Also, on the epay website it says fees must be paid by 1st September, yet on the re-reg letter it only mentioned having it paid a few days before you try to re-register... I'm guessing/hoping the latter is what's accepted?

Yeah I've done my 4 years and I'm somehow staying on for more! I've a new student number to learn now... if only I knew what it was!!

I'm almost certain I read it at some point along paying my fees, but best not to just take my word for it - call the fees office and find out!

As it happens, I have paid my fees in two blocks (500 deposit first, then the balance), and the fees office were fine with this.

And that 1st September thing is a mistake/scaremongering. You have until the dates shown on your registration form - 5 working days for payment to clear via ePay before registration.

I'm in the same position, all of our student numbers seem to start with 0926 anway, learn that far!

I have made two laser payments. One of €1200 and the other of €377 and they were fine with it.

Did you click the "to pay an amount other than the one shown above" link? What's this bs about multiples of 10000? Do I ignore that and just put in the amount I'm paying?

Yup. I was instructed to pay those amounts by someone in the fees office.

Obviously €385 if you want to pay the USI levy.

Ah right. I paid 1500 today and I'll just pay the 85 tomorrow. That should be ok with them too shouldn't it? Wonder why they said 1200 and 385, sounds like a bit of a random choice...

There are restrictions on how much you can by laser in any one day, its about 1270 euro or similar. Thats a banking restriction not TCD

There is no problem making several payments. Payment for accommodation has the same issue.

You won't have the problem paying by credit card
