Chamber of Commerce

    Greetings fellow bizfolk.

I have interests in several different companies both here and in the UK. One of my Irish companies has been really struggling this year (who hasn't ).

So, on the advice of my accountant I joined up with a Chamber of Commerce that covers the area where my main business is for this company.

Now, let me tell you boys & girls I was VERY sceptical about joining a Chamber as there are costs involved and I thought the company would just become the member of some "club" where I pay my dues but get nothing in return.

Within a week of joining I have secured several thousands of euros of work and I have loads of sales leads to follow up over the next 2 weeks, all from fellow members.

Now, I can't guarantee that anyone else will get the same results as me but I'm delighted I joined and I thought it was something worth sharing with my fellow Boardsies.

    :)
