So I'm down to last few in interview process... final interview today was with my two would be managers... they said it would be informal and just a chat to see how I'd fit in with team etc

I know someone who was interviewed earlier in the day, interview only lasted 20 mins whereas I was there for around 1 1/2 hours.. they talked about the company and asked for my ideas, asked a lot about my hobbies etc, we seemed to get on really well. At the end of the interview they apologised for keeping me chatting for so long...

Is that a good sign that it was so long, especially when interview was just to assess my fit in the team? or will they think I talk too much?!

Normally, if you don't want to hire the person, you want to get them out of the interview as quick as possible, so it's better that the interview was longer rather than shorter...

I hope you get the job!

It's a very good sign, especially as the earlier interview was short.
