Biology teacher?

    ok so i'm going to nuig in september to do science and although its a few years away i'm planning on doing microbiology as my degree subject. so having this and getting a higher diploma in education will i be qualified to teach biology at secondary school level?

    To see if your degree is eligible for you do get onto the hdip course you'll need to check the hdip website or the teaching council one.

    You can check www.pac.ie to check what your degree entitles you to teach. PAC is the same as the CAO but for the PGDE (formally the hdip).
