    Hi All

I am looking to get my eyes done asap. My prescriptions at the moment is -2.75 and -3.50. I have been on both websites and cannot decide on who to go with.

Could you advise me based on your own experiences who I should go with?

What is the after care policy?

    many thanks for your help

    Stevie

Go to both and decide yourself. The first consultations are free so you have nothing to lose and can make an informed decision on your own.

will do , I am a type1 diabetic and have just been told by optilase that I would not be suited for this type of surgery as a result. I have an appointment with optical express on Sunday in Dundrum Centre and will check with them.

If Optical Express doesn't work out you should try Laservision http://www.laservision.ie on Leeson Street. I just went there and things are working out well (one week after). Have a look in the Optilase thread for my experience so far.
The surgeon there, Dr John Fenton, has experience with diabetic related eye conditions. Also you get to actually meet him at the consultation as opposed to an optometrist so he'll be able to give you more specialised advice. Maybe you'll have more luck.
