I'm kinda nervous about sendin it out because it requests the original copy of all documents and my birth cert is quite fragile. I'm afraid it'll get damaged in the post. Is there any other way i can send it in? Like, could i drop it in to the place myself personally?

I imagine you can. Just ask them to copy the originals there and then and take hte originals home with you.

You can get a copy of your birth cert (what you have already) for about €6.
