SSD Netbook Recommendation

I'm looking to pick up a netbook for travel and general internet access while on the move. I'd like one with a large SSD and as long a battery life as possible. A 10" screen would be preferable.

The Asustek Eee PC 901 with the Atom N270 chip has been recommended to me but I can't find it anywhere in stock. I did order one from Pixmania only to be informed by the dealer that supplies them that it was, in fact, not in stock. Bummer.

I'm willing to pay good money (within reason) provided the netbook in question is good quality.

    Cheers,

    CJ

I'd get an NC10 and buy a fast SSD to replace the internal drive if that is possible. You could buy a 2.5" caddy and use the drive that was in it as external storage / backup.

    Hey Khannie,

    Thanks for the reply.

After a very quick Google I came across the following on Pixmania (yikes!). A 128 SSD is pretty much on the money, and then some.

Are these machines as good as many claim them to be?

    Thanks,

    CJ
