    Hi

Im looking for an all round product to do the following

    1) Heart rate
    2) Cycling distance covered / speed /
    3) Running distance covered / pace etc

I had a look at this, seems to cover all angles

    http://www.polar.fi/en/products/running_multisport/RS300X_G1

So any opinions or prefered products would be appreciated

My budget would be less than 200 euros

for €210 you could get a garmin forerunner 305 with HRM.

Buy from ebay/amazon and it'll prob be cheaper. Have mine for 2 years and never go out without it.

I'm mostly on the bike, but I use a Polar CS300 and it will work for running too. No distance measure for running though. It has a bike mount so is perfect for moving between your wrist and the bike.

I have the G1 sensor as an add on to my S625x, it works well, light, good battery usage, takes at most a minute to pick up the satellites.

but as far as I know the RS300 doesn't record beat-by-beat

Sorry, was just commenting on the G1 really.

If all you want is speed and distance I'd probably look at the Garmin FR60.

If you are concerned with proper HR training you need something that records beat by beat.
