Just thought of an idea for a discussion thread. Someone mentions a random wrestler of some notoriety living or dead. We then share photos, nostalgia and great/poor matches he/she may have had. We change wrestler discussed every day or whenever. What ya think?

Ill go first Million Dollar man Ted Dibiase. One of my earliest memorys of pro wrestling as a child was when Ted did a number on Dusty and Dustin Rhodes sitting in the crowd. One of the best talkers ever and never a wasted angle or rub. Ted is one of the great heels. http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:MmpodQLeLDF18M:http://rebuildingyear.files.wordpress.com/2006/08/ted-dibiase01.jpg

Great entertainer (could do the heelish beg-for-mercy act like nobody else) with a fantastic gimmick that built storylines by itself. I wasn't crazy about his in-ring work, even though it was perfectly solid. Would peg him personally as more noteworthy for his mike work and characterisation, though I'm open to correction. Also I've not yet heard a bad word said about him as a pro or person, which is rare.

Looking back, I love his role in the WM4 storyline leading up to the tournament and right through it: his pure b*stardly genius was what made it possible to freshen up the product, letting Savage have the belt without diminishing Hogan. That kind of thing has rarely been done so well subsequently. His WM 6 bout against Jake the Snake Roberts was great as well!

Can we have wrestlers from different groupings like Samoans,Polish wrestlers, fatties, midgets and other such catagories?

I do like this idea BTW

Definetely. If it improves the quality of discussion.
