    Hi Fellas

How often should you audit your accounts, would every year be the norm ?

    Thanks in advance

If you are required to have your accounts audited then it will be every year.

However, most companies in Ireland do not have to have their accounts audited, but some do anyway for various reasons. In this case the frequency is up to the owners of the company, but would most often be yearly.

In some instances a company may be audited prior to sale, which may be a once off, and relatively expensive, audit.
