Saab 9-3 Trims

Can anyone point me to a summary of what the various trim levels on the Saab 9-3 mean ("Linear", "Vector", "Aero" - then where does "... sport" come in)? Specifically the 2006-2008 year range. I say this since they seem to change meanings according to my internet searching but there are a lot of USA-specifc site that are probably misleading.
Thinking of 1.9 TiD but need to be clearer about all this before kicking tyres.

Linear is basic specification - cloth seats and pre-facelift, steel wheels with covers.

Linear Sport is next. Half Leather and Alloys pre facelift, Leather, alloys, cruise control and parking sensors. This is really all you need.

Vector came next, then Vector Sport - can't remember what extra came with these on top of the Linear Sport Spec, but I seem to remember it not being worthwhile paying the difference.

Aero is the top of the range and came with either the 2.3 Turbo 210bhp, or 2.8V6 280bhp. Now available with the 1.9TTid 180ps diesel.

I'd be looking for a 1.9TIDs (150bhp) Linear Sport with the upgraded ALU57, 17" Alloy wheels.

    What about Arc?

There are a lot of trim levels for the Saab. I think there is one called Airflow as well

Arc is a trim level on it a few years ago, its not there anymore. Not sure of the standard trim with the Arc but my mam has one, and it has 17 inch alloys and full leather fwiw.

It used to be just Linear, Arc, Vector and the top of the line Aero being the performance version.

Linear was the most basic with hubcaps and cloth seats, Arc added things like alloys and possibly leather, Vector was the more sporty trim with 17" alloys and semi-leather seats.

That's my understanding of it anyway.

    I've an 06 1.9TiD Vector Sport Combi. 150bhp diesel.

Bigger wheels, full leather, auto sense wipers, follow-me-home lights iirc.., cruise control, auto dual-zone climate etc. Has everything I can think of bar.........it's a manual (6-speed).

At the time, iirc, it was the highest spec, but they keep changing it.

We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
