I want to test drive the new impreza diesel but there aren't any dealers in Galway? Are they likely to go for sub-20k for one, I'm a cash buyer.

Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, or Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo are your two nearest dealers:

The dealer used to be Flemings, the Opel dealer. You could give them a ring.

margins are small on the Impreza. Was talking to CR in dublin and they told me that the basic spec ones are almost impossible to get here. They have the mid spec one and I'd say a pre-registered one is the way to go with cash.

I wasn't overly impressed on the interior of it...dash was a bit bland and the quality not as good as I was expecting. See for yourself. Engine is a cracker though...

    Hey Rocky!

Not sure if you'd get the Impreza for sub 20K. And if you do, fair dues to you! You should get it for 20K though. My honest opinion is that there's a very large jump in price from the entry level model up to the next one. Personally, I don't think it's worth it. It's a cracking car to drive. Good luck with your search! If I see a shiny new Scooby driving around Galway, I'll take it that it's probably you!:)

    :D

Craughwell was for used only and they pulled out of it this week. Was a great location but the rep of the dude there before them crucified it.

You could also try Peter Mooney in Sligo maybe?
