    Hello Guys,

I am thinking of applying for a Phd at WIT next year and I would like to know what research is like at the school in terms of :

    > How supervision is done i.e are most supervisors nice and approachable.

    >Is there a strict attendance regime or is it focused on Independent learning.

    >Do research students have a desk to work or are they dumped in the Library.

I intend to do my research in Business btw...

    Thanks for your anticipated responces.

    hey,

all the lecturers are pretty good, and they're fairly relaxed. They'll help you out as much as they can.

I'd say go for it. The facilities in the library are great with designated research offices where you have your own quiet room with own desk and computer.

    best of luck
