I just bought one of these from ebay but it arrived with no instructions. Any idea how to tune the thing? I haven't a clue what radio station to use?

I think the idea is NOT pick a radio station. Pick a frequency on fm that is blank. Then the sound from ur device will transmit on that frequency.

Poster is correct - manually work through you FM scale to find 'empty' air - you really need space either side too.

It is nearly impossible to find a frequency which works to a decent standard, better to get your stereo adapted to allow MP3 player to be connected.

I live in Dublin and have given up on FM transmitter - if anyone knows a frequency please post!

You mean keep moving the tuning button on my radio until I get a silent one? What do I do with the device then? Willit work better if I put it onto airplane mode?

U chose a frequency on your radio. Then I assume you are able to adjust the device to that frequency. Ideally have your iPod playing at the time so that when the frequencies match you will hear the song playing on the iPod coming through your radio. As there are different types of devices I can't be sure exactly how to tune your particular one. There must be a digital display and a tuning button(s).

Yes that's the best option, I also recommend to keep a big gap if tuning close to some of the National stataions like RTE's, TodayFM

I have mine setup with a low freq. I think is 88.2 or similar, does work for moving most of the city.

Does anyone have the problem that if the Freq. used is late 90's early 100's it affects the GPS signal and not able to pic signal till the transmitter is disconnected.

I use a Belkin transmitter and it works fine for me. Occasionally I get interference but it only lasts a few seconds. I use 88.15 frequency.
