Power Shower Problem

I have a Mira Event XS Thermostatic Power Shower.The pump speed seems to be stuck at full power and turning the knob will not change it.I normally use the shower with power at minimum and I noticed recently that sometimes it would increase power for a few seconds and revert then to normal.What could be the problem?
