    Hi guys,

Long story short - Ordered a graphics card for 130€ and got sent this laptop instead. Happy days you say. Now the problem is the company i ordered it from is french, so its got a AZERTY keyboard and windows is in french too. Now i can't remember if i can change windows into english and i can just livw with the keyboard.

Also if its not possible, what are ther other choices for OS's. And since this thing has no dvd/cd drive what are the options of installing it and where can i get the drivers, as on samsungs site there are only winxp drivers there.

    Thanks.

To change language Microsoft want you to buy a new copy of windows in that language.
You can change language with some volume licenses but home users need not apply.

Most linux distros can boot from USB so you could do that.
ubuntu netbook remix is worth a look, it boots from a 1GB usb key so you can try before you install

or borrow a usb CD drive

You could install all the apps with English language, how often do you read the windows menus ?

I have XP and Windows 7 running on mine, dual boot.

Do you think they'll spot the error and bill you for the balance? I wouldn't pay full whack for a French laptop I didn't want. :D

They wont be able to bill me now as the transaction went through, and was bought on a laser card too. If they do contact me ill obviously send it back to them.

On a side note, how did you get xp and win7 on the nc10, bootable usb drive?

It comes with XP installed and when you start it up get the option of partitiion sizes, I set C: (XP) as low as possible and then installed 7 from an external USB HD in XP, it doesn't need to be bootable this way.
