I had a quick look in this forum and most of the threads are quite old.
Has forum gaming gone out of fashion?
Are they still played here?

Gaming generally seems to have gone quiet lately, a lot of the college societies seem to have turned into computer gaming ones instead.
Sad that the level of interest seems to have dropped so low.

It's hard to beat a face-to-face pen&paper RPG, a lot of people I know who've tried PBP tend to wander back to the original because it's convenient. Those I know who've stuck with it tend to stick to play-by-email. Maybe there's a privacy issue, not everyone's willing to publish themselves pretending to be a fantasy character on a website where the whole world can see?

Then again, there are a few dedicated PBP sites that seem to be very busy. Patternspider.net has a PBP forum with dozens of White Wolf games going at any one time (mostly Exalted), I've found myself hanging out there a lot recently.

Yea im guilty as charged.

I've ran quite a few games on here in the past. Only 1 game in all the years ran through to completion and on into a 2nd scenario. I'm always willing to play/run a game however i usually find as sarky says after a while players just sort of forget/give up on these kinds of games.

I've said it time and time again these kind of forms games only really work if you can get players to commit to at least 3 game turn posts a week.

In fairness tho I've been AWOL from boards for about 2 years (you know things like getting married, Raising kids, moving counties, getting a job ya know boring real life stuff tends to get in the way)

Id be up for running another game if people are interested?

Anything really, Players Choice i can run almost any game (a role playing version of X's and O's just doesnt work).

I have a few pre-writen games i can run

Call of Culuthtu
SLA Industries
Star Wars
Random D20 survival game.

I can run other games given time to prepare something and gen characters. Id only need a week, 2 tops. Just let me know what you want to run and we can run it.

We could but i don't know if all the players are still around?

In the event that they are not we can start something new. I had a job/house move (county move actually) so my boards activity dropped to zero for the last 3 months however im all settled in now so i can start back up again if people want.

So if people want i can run/play another game if you like?

So suggestions anyone what game you want to play? You can pick one of the ones above i have pre-made or i can run something new (just need a week or so's pre-prep before we get started)

So i have a hell yes from qwertz and Thaedydal and a maybe from hairyheretic id need at least 4 to play if 4 of you could commit to a min of 2 to 3 game turns a week the game would fly by.
