I will be starting biomedical science the coming September but I really want to do medicine. Does anyone know if I could apply to the UK after one year in Biomedical Science? :)

You can apply. But they'll probably place more emphasis on your LC points than having one year of BioMed done.

You could wait until you finish BioMed and then apply for graduate entry. Either here or abroad.

Have you given any thought to repeating the LC or doing the HPAT again?

    Why not repeat hpat??

UK will only look at your grades on FIRST LC-they have no interest in repeats.
This is covered in other threads but you have to act soon and do UKCAT exam covered in

and do a personal statement including relevant work etc and apply through ucas

As regards UK course content see Chunky Monkey

can repeat hpat or get 2.1 or above in degree and do GAMSAT -also well covered on boards.ie

just finish of the biomed, unless you want to repeat, or else get into a 3 yr lvl 8 course
