Westport next Tues and Wed

    Hi all, headin to Westport with the Mrs for 2 days nxt tues and wed stayin right in the town centre. Any suggestions for things that are must do and any good boozers that will have a bit of life to them in the evenings? (well as good as it can get on a tues/wed)

    pub's: on bridge st. The West, The Porter house, Matt Molloys, JJ o malleys...
    Take a trip out the quay, westport house ect, out the louisbourg rd there is 2 beeches bertra and old head aswel as croagh patrick, there is a good pub in murisk The Tavern, For food there is a really good restaurant called An Port Mor off Bridge street in Brewery lane,

    I was looking at the menu in An Port Mór - looked tasty. It's as good as the menu suggests, then?

    Yes was in Port Mór recently - top class

    Salutations enjoy your stay in Westport. Above recommendations endorsed. Could also consider a day trip to Clare Island - get to the very edge of Europe.
