I dont play Mafia wars but i play Mafia detah which is on its own site. You should check it out, its very addictive

Short answer - yes!

Its very addictive though I find - maybe thats cos I like killing people and am a control freak though!

Started this recently but need more people to join my mafia. Do you have to get people as your FB friends to do this though? I'm wary of just putting a random request out there only to attract some weird stalker-type!!

I have to admit I've been playing a lot to this game... and yeah, I think that you have to add people as friends in Facebook to invite them to your mafia.

Yea, it's pretty addictive alright, I love that you can start wars with your friends, if one of them pisses you off that day.. war with them, relieve a bit of stress :P

What you can do is invite people to be your friends or put out a status update looking for mafia members then when they become your friends invite them to your mafia once they have accepted you can delete them as friends from your face book and they are still in your mafia!!!
Only downside to this is they cant sendyou gifts etc but at least they cant be stalking you!!!

Best cheat for mafia wars is to use the autoplayer... If you use firefox as a browser u can install autoplayer that plays the game for u!!

Needs the Greasemonkey extension.

I've added the Facebook Purity script which removes all the annoying quizzes and the updates from these games. I don't really play em..........won't allow myself to get hooked!

Some of my irl friends are playing it, they tell me not to start it because you'll get addicted too fast. Maybe it's fun though?
