Hi , i'm looking to book a sun holiday for my parents for september. Criteria would be :
    Short flight [2-3 hrs]
Nice hotel , something 3-4 star
    Early 20 degrees
Something for them to see during the day as they wouldnt be lying around the pool

    Any pointers?

    Cheers

The Lisbon coast - Estoril; Cascais. The suburban train line runs into the city, to do shopping/sightseeing. Try joewalshtours.ie(no, I don't work for them).

somewhere on the Cote d'Azur in france would be perfect for that age group, nice is the biggest city in the area and the main airport but you also have places like monaco, cannes, eze, st tropez all within easy distance

Madeira is great too. But check temperatures. If heat is an issue, and you're looking For early 20 s deg I'd go more central europe like Bordeoux in France or Italy around the lakes.
