Hi All, I'm new to investing and so I've a bit of a stupid question. I want to buy shares in BP on the LSE. They are listed in pence. The price is currently 509.65p. Now does that mean they are £5.09 or does it mean they are £509.65. Sorry its just the 2 decimal places thing is confusing me. I know they are almost certainly not £509.65 but just want to be sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
