What time of year are you going? Prague great spot, plenty of decent hotels near Wenceslas Square, very central. Il try to fish out where I stayed last couple of times, know that Jurys Inn opening a new Hotel next month, might be worth checking out if they have any offers.

Just back from 5 nights in Prague, stayed in Hotel Tyl,it was about a 5 minute walk from the square..only cost 250 euro for 5 nights so I thought that was pretty good (breakfast included)

Have been to Prague twice this year (love the place!) and stayed in Mala Strana (between the Castle and the River) both times, gorgeous area, busy during the day but much quieter at night as most tourists stay over the other side of the river. Depends tho' whether you want to be right in the middle of the nightlife in which case around Old Town Square would be nearer (Wenceslas Square can be a bit seedy) or if you're looking for something more romantic ;). In July, we found a 4 star hotel in an old historic building just below the Castle for €55 B&B for 2.

    Enjoy, it's a gorgeous place!
