    Hi All

Thinking of selling my car at present. I’m in no rush, as I haven’t bought anything else as yet. Also I’m not to sure what I want next, but after 2 years I usually change.

Bare in mind this is model is far scarcer than the manual model so usually attracts a premium for the right buyer, what do ye think I should put it up for?

Here is the car, PLEASE NOTE €9999 in NOT the asking price or what I think the asking price is, I just had to put a number in adverts.

    Thanks All.

Just had a look for similar cars online and they are going for 7-8k
Unfortunately I think the fact that it's automatic will make it less desirable.
I would advertise for 8k but accept a 7k offer if it comes your way.

i dunno. The auto will limit your market somewhat but it could be the perfect car for someone.i'd put it up for about 7.5k maybe and aim for 6.5k

Also you might make more money by selling the alloys separately and then put the originals back on.

Eh... since you imported it... did you import it in 2000? If not, how many owners did it have before it was imported?

I think a nice set of shoes would help with the sale :)

I would tend to agree that in a car like a Celica, an auto box will be less appealing to a potential buyer so it will effect the selling price.

    Threw me off.

Manual version on carzone for about €7,000

As for yours being automatic... I'm unsure if this will be seen as a good or bad thing...?

    Eurm what threw you off.
My understanding is the car was imported from japan in 2007 and first registered in this country by the op.

After trying a couple of places with trade in and the above I've decided to put it up for €7950 and take €7500. I'll see how it gets on.

I'll try adverts , gumtree , donedeal, buy and sell , local paper . I want to avoid carzone as they are robbing gits.

Is there any place Im missing to advertise ?
