What day do you collect the dole?

    Got a call yesterday to say my JSA is approved. What day is dole day - Thursday or Friday?

    Also how do you provide evidence of looking for work. I finished college in June and I've sent off CV everywhere. Got 2 interviews, the first crowd rang and said I didn't get the job , the second company didn't even contact me at all. How can I prove this? Should I send the CV's by registered post and show them the receipt or something?

    My mates collect theres on a Tuesday, its annoying as they are always broke by Friday.

    i get mine wednesday. as far as proof of looking for work i dont have to give any but if your applying online just keep your emails saved.

    So is there no offical day then , you can collect it whenever you want or does it vary from place to place?

    i get JA and mine is in the post office on a tuesday but i can leave it there until thursday. I think JB gets theirs on Wednesday but not sure!

    I was told Wednesday and collected my first today thankfully (Cork). The lady in the post office told me I have six days to collect payment, where as I had thought it was 3 max. It must vary from post office to post office so I think you should ask. Also I received a letter telling me what day to collect so you will too.

    Just on the above post, mine comes in on a Thurs to the Post Office. Looking at having difficulty collecting it next Thurs or Fri, does anyone know if it should still be there on the Monday?

    your local post office will prob be open saturday morning.

    I get js on a Wednesday only for i dont drink or smoke it would be gone by Wednesday haha only rent food and diesel for me:D
