I don't think you will see a better price for ages. Couldn't help myself.

EDIT: They won't ship it here sor some reason, price? Weight?

I've tried to order it from sendit, the hut, cdwow, even play and none of them will ship it to Ireland. I eventually ordered it from Amazon (It's region free on BD apparently). Cost 160 euro with exchange rate, shipping etc. Here's hoping it gets through customs OK :)

EDIT: Plus, the US version has all the extras: Podcasts, extended episodes etc. Getting rave reviews. Will let ye know if it comes OK

Why not just order it from Amazon UK? The EU (UK) version has all the extras the US ones does (minus the Cylon figure) from the reviews I have read and also comes in a shiny tin thingy. People are moaning about the crapness of the US packaging.

    Still let me know.

Yeah, that's why. For the extra 20 quid there seems to be more extras (more extended episodes/deleted scenes, all the podcasts (Although I think the UK one may have them too). Not too pushed about the cylon figure. Anyone want it? Got enough geekery around the gaff. Will post it for a few bob if it's wanted.

Seriously EVERY review I read says the content is the same, what have you heard?

I would rather a sturdy case and BD boxes than the crappy cardboard sleeves the yanks are moaning about.

Well, TBH, I don't care too much about the box as the discs will be going into a CD wallet anyway along with my other TV series as this frees up a LOT of room. (All the boxes are up in the attic). For the sake of 20 quid I got it about 1 month earlier and I'm not sure if all the extras are the same across the regions so I wanted to be sure. I know the podcasts are on both but I can only see references to 2 or 3 extended episodes in the UK one as opposed to 5 or so with the US/non region one. As for the discs themselves: I've only watched the miniseries and 1st two so far but the pic quality is amazing. As all the reviews have said, the miniseries is only OK pic quality but 33 is startingly good. Up to now The Dark Knight was my live action BD demo disc to show me mates but now it's BSG (Cars I think is my best demo disc of all :) )
