    :confused:hey people i,ve taken over a 2nd fix of house for a friend and notice he has no eircom box and its a pirvate house .the nearest poll is 50ft away so i was wondering could i build a eircom piller beside the the pole and run polly/polly back to the house?thks

    they may be able to do wireless from the pole to house .i've seen it done for one-off houses.don't know if its
    compatible with broadband .otherwise they will prob want the ducting , 'ETU' and master socket

    the master socket is gona be in a hub,will eircom let you bring there cable straight in these days ?

    the master socket is fed with their cable and is the interface with the customers internal wiring normally.you might get away with a duct straight into the master socket beside patch panels as the ETU is merely a through box .eircom don't want to maintain any internal wiring only the master socket connection
