there's nothing there? so i'm assuming its a setting on your version of word? take a screen shot and put it up

Can you see them now? They are really faint and are still on the page when I print.

You are in markup view mode - change it back to normal under the view menu.

ok so changed it back to normal view and there gone but they are still there when i print
