Clay shooting on RTE

I had an interesting day today. I spent the afternoon in Ashbourne shooting grounds being filmed coaching Cian Ward, the Meath footballer, for the RTE Television programme, The Road to Croker. The programme will be shown on Friday 28th Aug at around 7.00 on RTE2.
Obviously the programme is about football, so I'd say the final footage of us shooting will be fairly brief. However, it's nice to get to show the sport on national television without any of the negativity that's normally associated with shooting.
So heads up lads for Friday week.

PS Big thanks to MY camera man Big Bang - he took the pics!

Glad to see you joining the celeb's!

We were on RTE's Higher ground on 5th Aug (with the birds, that includes the Mrs!) and we had all of 2.9 seconds of screen time.

Have you sorted out an Agent yet! Ha ha ha....

I can see it now... This week, on Prime Time, we ask "are the GAA taking on-field aggression too far" and ask if we should ban shotguns in case we see a shooting spree during the All-Ireland Finals in 2009... :pac:

It's just as well I didn't let the camera man take the final "shot" he wanted. He asked could we do the "macho Vinnie Jones" type shot with Cian and two guns, one over each shoulder.

I told him No Thanks! that's not what we're about.
