Sorry it isn't as sharp as it might be - no scanner just a camera.

Now, I now the paper is dated April 1st, 2000 but I suspect that this was just a supreme irony rather than a bogus story! Anybody know the truth behind the story? What happened to Mountjoy House, the Placenames Archive? Is it still standing? Did the Placenames Archive get buried out in Dunsink landfill or stored in the the open at the old Daingean Reformatory with the dugout canoes?
