Idea for stickies

    Mods and boardies,

    What do you think about making stickies for the following:
    ACCA book exchange
    ACCA which college
    ACCA general / results
    ACA FAE
    ACA Cap2
    ACA Cap 1
    It seems that alot of threads starting at the moment which are all pretty much the same and I think that replies are slim as there is so many threads.

    Just an idea, maybe you could let me know what you think.

    Good idea, but the problem is you fill up almost half the first page with sticky threads!

    Very true, I just thought it would mean that threads are more informative. Could we create mega-threads and from the charter direct people to post in these?

    I think you're on the right track to be honest. A subforum or something could even work, but I don't know if there'd be enough traffic to warrant it.

    I dont think there is enough traffic for a subforum and I think the accounting forum is behind enough forums as it is.

    I am even more sure stickies or mega-threads are the way forward as there has been loads more single threads posted about which ACCA college and book buying since I started this :(

    If there are any ACCA people reading this, could you start a book swap/buy/sell megathread?
    Seriously the number of new threads on this is getting silly, it is taking over the forum and other peoples questions are being missed.

    Or mods could you merge all the threads into a megathread or sticky?

    I did not post that would appreciate if you did not make up quotes I didnt say.

    I was making a suggestion to make the forum better for everyone, I would feel exactly the same if there a hundred threads started about ACA exams.

    This forum is a mess at the moment. Look at what the photography forum did to solve their problem with the amount of repetitive questions asked. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055243345

    One superthread that links to all other threads on a subforum on say ACA - exams, lectures, books and likewise for all the other bodies.

    A thread on the pro's and con's of each body.

    It's not that hard and would help to clear this mess up. Mods please do something.
