    Hi,

Just looking for a bit of info on martial arts in inchicore. I saw that there is a karate club and kenpo karate club (what is the difference?) there. Does anyone have any opinions for which would be best for beginner adult who's into fitness?

    Cheers

I'm not sure of the difference tbh as I don't have a background it either.

But one of the user's here 'Pearquasher' (I think its him) has a club in Inchicore, some kind of Ninjitsu I think.

Sorry about the very vague reply :o

Kenpo Karate is in the John Bosco youth club. A very good club if I recall.

There are many different styles of karate, of which Kenpo karate is one. Rather than worry about which style is best, I suggest you check out both clubs to see which is most suited to your fitness needs. While most karate clubs will engage in similar training there are differences in their approach which could make one more suitable for you. Certainly check out whether or not you will be training with other adults.... a lot of clubs are almost exclusively children.

    Have fun,
