I'm hopefull going into second year of the course, repeat depending.

The course can be great fun at times, and suck on others. You will have to be at a certain level of fitness and your first day will probably involve some strenght tests and a bleep test etc, so you don't want to go in incredibly unfit like I did (worst time to quit football!)

During the year there will be swimming once a week, if your crap don't worry you'll learn. Two hours a week where you'll be asked to take the class for basic coaching sessions which can be great craic. Another two hours a week for whats called "Fundemental & Functional Movement", squats and lunges. However in those first couple of weeks you'll prob be doing circuits to get everyone fit which is tough but worth it.

You'll probably do FAI, GAA, Basketball, Cricket and Volleyball coaching courses which are good.

We were the first year of the course so for your's it'd be much more organised and the kinks should, or at least would want to be, worked out by this stage.

If your anyway active you should enjoy it, the business side is a drag though!

Anymore questions just give me a shout.
