Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I don't really have time to search.

I have my first year repeats starting this week, 4 in total. 2 are continuous assesment and 2 are exams. I'm feoeling pretty good about all but one of the exams. Woeful lack of confidence. Anyway, on to my question : If I fail this one repeat can I still continue on to second year, or will I have to repeat 1st year just down to one failed exam?

The official line is that you can carry over up to two exams to the following year. Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be allowed carry over more. Email your course leader to make sure.

Above is true but some subjects you are not permitted to carry.

For a CA repeat - surely you had the last three or so months to work on this, right?

    Cheers lads.

The continuous assesments aren't the problem, just one of the written exams. Just don't really have any interest in the subject, find it pretty difficult to study. It's an elective, so I won't really have to worry about it again provided I pass this.
