Also, in reference to the open book policy, what texts are you allowed to bring in?

i'm going to attempt four in august... the more i get into it the more lost i become i don't know how i'm going to manage!

your can bring in whatever you like as long as it all fits in a box.. the box has to be the same size as what photocoping paper comes in. and in it you can put whatever you like books/notes

So i can bring in my BPP Textbook? I dont think i understand...doesn't that defeat the purpose a small bit if i can just pull the answers straight from the book??

you can bring in whatever you like i'll have my griffith college stuff with me and note books.

You really need to know your notes inside out and back to front if your going to be relying on them.

I think the point of the open book is that the examiners know if real working life we will go back to look at something if we are unsure. But I think there will be more "in your opinion" sort of theory questions rather than name 5 blah blah blah...

Have a look at the past papers and you'll see the difference.

On the cpa website there is also a breakdown of what you can bring in.

So far i've been mostly just doing out past papers for Auditing. How are you approaching it?
