Lynda.com - Dreamweaver CS4 with CSS Essential Training

Plenty more there too, $25 for access for a month.

Free online tutorials are great for picking up the odd technique but if you want to master a piece of software from scratch then a structured course like Lynda.com is the way to go imo.

If you've your heart set on getting to grips with dreamweaver then it should be very helpful but at the same time you should look at the basic XHTML and CSS courses up there too.

Then there's fireworks/illustrator/photoshop and an endless amount of excellent tutorials available.

    Thanks S.M.B!

You've obviously done a course from that site yea?

How long do they take? & dya know can you save other tutorials to do at a later date? - so as not to have to pay for more than a month.

    Thanks really appreciate your advice!

That Dreamweaver course seems to be 12 hours long.

Paying the monthly fee only allows you to stream the video's online which means you can't save them for later but more importantly you don't have access to the exercise files.

The same course on DVD would cost you about $150 though.
