we have gold shield heating in our house ie storage heaters and an emersion which is set to come on during the night to heat the water on the night time electricity rate,,,,problem is we went on hoidays and turned off the emersion and when we came back switched it back on and the next morning no hot water,, tried the boost…

we have gold shield heating in our house ie storage heaters and an emersion which is set to come on during the night to heat the water on the night time electricity rate,,,,problem is we went on hoidays and turned off the emersion and when we came back switched it back on and the next morning no hot water,, tried the boost button which should heat it up after an hour again nothing. the timer is working light is coming on but no hot water,,,,,any ideas as to what is wrong..
