Jeekers that's a fair walk (although in fairness I am pretty lazy). I'd guess it'd take somewhere around the half hour mark. Maybe a bit less.

I've walked to JJB (right beside the Ice Dome) a good few times from around there and it has taken me just under an hour.

But if you are gonna get the bus I would walk to the bus stop outside Dundalk Shopping Centre and there is a bus that brings you up to Muirhevna Mor which is right beside the Ice Dome though I have never gotten this bus myself so I have no idea where it stops.

Or... depending on where you are coming from - you could get the Matthews Bus, (from Dublin and Drogheda) and get off at the stop opposite Xerox. From there it would be about a ten minute walk.

Well the stop at the college is best then cut through the campus out to Hoeys lane and would save a bit of time.
