Thanks, I had an old Motorola v177 lying around the house locked to Vodafine.€1.20 for a spare phone isn't bad at all.

It took about 30 mins for the account to be approved from the time I paid for it. Well worth the wait!

Just in relation to this as well. Does anyone know if the credits you get expire? I'm thinking of buying a few of them and keeping them for a rainy day - i.e. to charge my friends a few quid to unlock their phones :p

Its a fair price for a Moto phone but just a code? Nice phones pity about the software.

Worked like a charm, thank you very much OP. Hubby tried to unlock phone last week using some other crowd and they were unable to provide us with an unlock code. (and he paid about 5 Euro I think).

    Thanks again,

    Magic.

I did, indeed. €4.11 more precisely.

LOL I wanted a new phone, wasn't happy with the old one, had the Motorola sitting around for the last two years (locked), tried to unlock it, didn't work, bought a new phone on Friday, found this thread yesterday, worked, managed to unlock the Motorola (only it was 24hrs too late) so now I have two working phones.... LOL.
