Unlocked iPhone, but losing settings

I have an 8gig Iphone which I'm using with my 02 sim, but for coverage purposes I use my Vodafone Sim in it, in work. Calls and texts work fine, but using the internet, or any Apps which need internet, just don't work.

Should the phone save settings as per the sim that's in it, or do I have to put them in everytime I swap sims?

    Help

    I'm still stuck with this...

I'm currently getting 4bars signal on Voda with 3G symbol too. Web Apps/mail not connecting to servers.

    Cellular Data : APN 1sp.vodafone.ie
    Username vodafone

    Is that a typo...should be "isp.vodafone.ie"

OP, only the settings for official carriers are retained within the iPhone and Vodafone IE is not one of them. So you have to re-input the settings each time. There is a partial workaround on the JellySMS blog (http://www.jellysms.com/blog/enable-internet-tethering-with-your-iphone-in-2-minutes-on-o2-ireland-with-30-gm/), where you can download carrier settings, check that it isn't set to hs.vodafone.ie though once downloaded as depending on your package you might be charged differently for this APN.

Did you get data downloading working? The isp.vodafone.ie APN works, so if you still have no data, try "reset Network Settings", restart the phone (hold power and home buttons down at the same time for 10 secs), recheck the APN, and if still no data it must be something on your account - you'll need to ring Vodafone to reset it on their side
