    What an amazing backfire....Isinbyeva failing all three of opening height. Maybe in future competitions she wont take anything for granted and indulge in those mindgames of hanging on for the opening height...A great record breaker etc.... She has great records in her event but that delayed entry effort smacks of a disrespect for the competition.

    Why?

    Why would she bother jumping heights that she feels are too low, wasting energy and adrenalin, when she can come in at higher heights and win. Okay, it did backfired, but the thought process was quite obvious, and it has worked before for her
