Iphone 3G No Service???

    Lads,I have jailbroken and unlocked my iphone using redsn0w and cydia.

    But when i put in a O2 or tesco sim,its says no service???

    Any ideas

    Firmware is 3.0(7A341)

    Does it come up No Service for any SIM you put into it?

    No I just get the "no service" then it disappears and I am left with 5 flat bars like

    Any ideas?

    Have tried turning off airplane and back on,taking out the sim card and back in.Am lost....

    Do you have O2 coverage? O2 and Tesco mobile are the same network pretty much...Well Tesco Roam on O2 so If you have no O2 coverage, you won't have Tesco Mobile coverage either. Do you have a Vodafone, Meteor or Three SIM to test with?

    I have plenty of coverage,as my N95 8 GB works perfect.Doubt its the coverage.

    This is wrecking me head....

    I find the signal strength on the iPhone is pathetic. Its very week. I cant get signal even when any other phone can get 2 or 3 bars.
