Hi lads need some help, was drawing straw all day today with a 90 90 and she seems to be boiling the oil in the back end. axle was very hot but wouldnt mind that, im more worried that the oil was white and frothy when i pulled the dipstick.

Know nothing about tractors really but white oil can be a sign that there is water mixed in it.

White and frothy could be either boiling or sucking air, hard to know without seeing it. Were you using the hydraulics at all? A loader or anything? Was everything working ok?

Fiats seem to get hot when you work them hard or do alot of road work. Check that you dont have one of the spool valves open and pumping and that you have sufficent oil in the back end. Might be no harm to change the oil and filter on it to see if it cures it.
If you are working the brakes hard alot this might also make the bak end hot.
