Hi all,

I am currently on JB

I am applying for a place on one of the 1000 college places made available for the unemployed and had a quick question. Part of the procdedure is that you need to present the college in question with "evidence of unemploment status" - they want to make sure you meet the requirement of having been unemployed for 6mths.

Is there a particular form I should be looking for from welfare?

The fact you have a Jobseeker's claim open is proof of unemployment status. You could just ask your hatch for a letter stating you have a claim open from whatever date.
