Chris Jericho and a few others were in Lillies and picked a fight with some random guy on Grafton street and got the crap kicked out of him and none of the other wrestlers he was with bothered to help him.

chris jericho, the guy that took down 270lb goldberg a former nfl defensive end and made him scream like a little girl got the crap beat out of him by a random guy on grafton street, that guy must have been steve collins or lennox lewis  funny we heard nothing about this in the news, meltzer reported nothing either

as the story goes taker was training in the gym in dublin and some of locals didn't take too kindly to him continually spitting on the floor, when they went over to ask him to stop, he looked at them and said "FU, we saved your asses in the war"

That was it, not sure how ture it is but that is the same story I was told.

I heard about the taker spitting incident at the time too. Around 2004? Apparantly some ballsy guy walked straight up and had a go at him. Rumour has it taker rolled his eyes and made some sort of throat slitting gesture though I'm not sure how accurate that is.

I overheard Michael Cole bitching to Kerwin Selfies that he didnt get to call enough matches at Wrestlemania 24 in the Marriott hotel bar after the event, and I met The Warlord, thats my only wrestler/pub story though

Trolling tip: if you're going to make stuff up at least try and make it believable

Anybody have any idea where the wrestlers stay when they are in Dublin?

Heading up to raw on the 4th November & my 9 year old daughter is a massive fan.

they stay in various locations but the herbert park hotel out in ballsbridge and the clarion on the quays past the custom house seem to be two of their favourite locations to stay, expect company, watching recent youtube videos ALOT of other irish fans swarm on the hotels

Thanks for that, booked into the Clarion just now cos its fairly handy for the o2. Funnily enough when i tried to book a room for 2 adults 1 child on the internet it came up with no availability but when i put in just 2 adults all rooms were available??

Anyways, rang the hotel direct & got a room for 2 adults & 1 child no problem.
